I have just tried to send a message to my members who haven’t yet put their names down to come to anything we do. I wanted to encourage them and let them know they will be warmly welcomed. I tailored each message to the person I was writing to.
However, I was stopped from sending more than 5 and a message came up about it being done to prevent spam.
Surely an organiser should be able to freely send private messages to each of the members of their group ?
I now have to wait until tomorrow to encourage more members to come along. This is not convenient for me as I am a live in carer and don’t get the free time most people get.
This means any other members will have to wait to be contacted, that they could miss out on coming to something and that the event could be lower in the number of members attending.
