I’m trying to promote my new group but now matter how hard I try I can’t get down to meet to appear in Google search results. I have set key words and tags but it’s not picking up on any of them. DtM is not well known here in the UK but is an excellent alternative to MeetUp and we like the website format.
Is there anything else we can do or have we perhaps got a mistake in our settings?
Hello I also run a downtomeet group but at the moment it looks like the whole site is down. Nobody is getting back to me and none of my members can access the site. Dont know if this is a world wide issue.
I’m having exactly the same problem with my new group I organize. Was good for a month then frozen out. According to the Facebook DTM website reviews there has been nobody at the helm for years to answer any questions tech or otherwise.
I have had responses when I have had problems. It is unusual to me to have no responses now. However if the site has been hacked with something called a DdOS which is a Distributed Denial Of Service attack then the action recommended for site owners is to shut off all devices so if they have done that then it would explain why I haven’t had reples to emails or even a response on their facebook page.
I hope they are working on it but it would be good to get some sort of communication about what is going on. You can still get on using laptops but not on phones and ipads.
In laptops you cannot access members details or old messages.
